Exfoliating Hand and Foot Scrub You need - 1/2 cup of cornmeal, 1/2 cup of oatmeal, 1/2 cup of course salt, 1/2 cup of unscented lotion and 1/4 cup of aloe vera gel. Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl, after it is thoroughly mixed, take a generous amount and rub it on your feet starting at the toes. Continue to massage the mixture until you have rubbed it all off. Rinse your feet in warm water. Pat them dry and apply some skin-softening lotion. Put on a pair of 100% cotton socks until morning. >> When you use this as a handscrub, take a generous amount and massage it on the front and back of your hands. Keep massaging until you have rubbed the mixture off. Rinse your hamds thoroughly and apply a skin-softening lotion. If you have a pair of cotton gloves, you can wear them over night.
Luxury Nail and Cuticle Oil Put 1/2 ounce jojoba oil, 1/2 ounce of macadamia nut oil and 1/2 ounce of apricot kernel oil in a small bottle. Apply the luxury oil to your nails and cuticles twice each week to keep them conditioned.
Honey Sugar Scrub You need 1 small egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoons of brown or white sugar and 2 drops of lemon essential oil. Place the egg yolk in a small bowl and break it up, add the honey and olive oil and stir it very well. Stir in the sugar. Add the essential oil last. After all of the ingredients are mixed very well, massage it onto you clean damp hands. Pay special attention to your cuticles, nail bed and in between your fingers. After about 5 minutes of massage, rinse your hands with warm water. Apply lotion after you have dried your hands. Sweet Foot Bath You need a foot-soak tub, 2 gallons of water, 1 cup of Epsom salts, 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1 drop of tea tree essential oil, 1 drop of juniperberry essential oil, 1 drop of peppermint essential oil and 1 dozen marbles or small rounded stones. Boil the water, then add it to your foot-soak tub. (USE CAUTION) Using a large and long wooden spoon, stir in the Epsom salts until they are dissolved. After 15 minutes, add the vinegar. Wait five more minutes and stir in the essential oils. Add the marbles (stones) and slowly lower your feet into the warm water. If the water is comfortable for you, rub your feet around on the marbles for 20 minutes. Use a pumice stone to remove any rough spots and you will soon have pretty soles of feet. Finish with a generous amount of lotion.
CocoMango Luxury Foot Bars You need 1 pound of goat milk 'melt and pour' base soap, enough coconut to make 1/2 cup grated, 2 1/2 ounces of mango butter, 2 tablespoons of coconut fragrance. Take the grated fresh coconut and put it on a cookie sheet and bake it until it is golden brown, you need to stir it once to make sure it is evenly baked. Set it aside to cool. In the meantime chop the mango butter into chunks and and melt it in a double boiler, stir often. After it has almost melted, remove it from the heat. In a seperate container melt the mango butter and pour it over the soap base. Take the cooled coconut and grind it in a blender or food processor. Sprinkle it over the top of the soap base and mango butter mixture. Do Not Stir. Let it sit for 10 minutes and add the fragrance oil and stir it all together. Everything will begin to thicken. Pour the mix into 4-6 ounce molds and allow it to sit and harden over night. These foot bars make excellent gifts. Or you sell them to others at different markets.
Fancy Feet You need 2 ounces of shea butter, 1 ounce of sweet almond oil, 1 ounce of coconut oil, 1 1/2 ounce of emulsifying wax, 1 1/2 ounce of lemon juice, 1 1/2 ounce of distilled water and 10 drops of peppermint essential oil. Put the shea butter, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, wax and lemon juice in a heat-proof container, add heat until everything is completely melted, then remove it from the heat, also warm the water. After both are heated, pour them into a mixing bowl at the same time with the mixer on low. Blend them together for a few minutes. Let the Fancy Feet sit for about 10 minutes and add the peppermint oil, and mix it again until the essential oil is thoroughly mixed in. Pour the cooled Fancy Feet into seperate containers. To Use; simply massage an ample amount into your feet after your bath.
Deodorant Foot Bath Mix 5 drops of clary sage oil, 4 drops of lemon oil 3 drops of juniper oil together and rub it on your feet.
Lemon ~ Tomato Skin Toner Use 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of fresh tomato juice mixed. Rub it on your clean damp hands. The natural acids will help remove age spots, rough dry skin and other discolorations.
Cooling Foot Lotion Use 1/2 cup of fresh chopped peppermint, 4 cups of boiling water and 2 tabespoons of Epsom salts. Get a large container and put the chopped peppermint in it, pour the boiling water over the peppermint. Allow the herbs to steep for one hour. After the water has cooled, soak each foot for about 20 minutes. You can also take the time to manage your cuticles. Apply a moisturizing lotion after you have dried your feet.
Lemon Foot Scrub Take 1 cup on granulated sugar and the juice of one lemon and make a paste. While you are in the shower, rub the paste on your feet and ankles. Use the lemon peel on your knees and elbows. You can also use this paste on you entire body. Your skin will be silky smooooth.
Yogurt And Avacado Hand Therapy Take one mashed avacado, 1/2 cup of plain yogurt, the juice from one lemon, one pair of white gloves and some petroleum jelly. Mix thoroughly, the avacado, yogurt and lemon juice in a medium container. Put a generous amount all over your hands and leave it on for ten minutes. Rinse your hands thoroughly. After you have rinsed and dried your hands, apply a liberal amount of the petroleum jelly. Put on the white gloves and leave them on over-night. This treatment will gently slough of dead skin and the lemon juice will help to gradually fade any dark spots that you have. NOTE: Do not use this treatment if you have sensitive skin or if you have any broken skin on your hands because the lemon juice will cause a sting.
